Principal Projects

The Center for the Advancement of Teaching facilitates a variety of programs and services in support of faculty teaching and pedagogical development. CAT leads and facilitates an expanding portfolio of large-scale, signature projects including The Gateway Project, University Evaluating Teaching, Provost's Hybrid Initiative, Faculty Fellows Program, and the Humanities in Miami (THINC) Project.

Faculty Fellows play a critical role in CAT’s capacity and ability to accomplish its programmatic goals. CAT's faculty partners come from across the university, receive stipends to provide leadership, and expertise while sharing faculty perspectives on nearly all aspects of teaching and learning.
