Shenira Perez

Bio

Shenira Perez is the Assistant Director for Teaching Excellence at CAT. Shenira received her Ph.D. in Applied Developmental & Educational Psychology from Boston College, where she focused on examining factors that influence student motivation. In her current role at CAT, Shenira works on various aspects of the Evaluating Teaching Project, which is a university-wide initiative to enhance teaching evaluation practices at FIU. She also manages the CAT Faculty Fellows program and facilitates workshops on various topics related to teaching and learning.
