Bio
Jeanette Salazar is the Manager at the Center for the Advancement of Teaching (CAT), where she is committed to providing high-quality service in support of faculty, students, and campus partners. She oversees the coordination of programs, services, and initiatives that advance teaching and learning, including operational support for the Provost’s Hybrid Program. Jeanette collaborates closely with faculty, leadership, and departments to plan and deliver university-wide events. She also oversees graduate assistants and temporary employees, contributing to meaningful student employment and professional development experiences. In addition, Jeanette manages all human resources and budget operations for CAT and supports the development of effective systems and processes that strengthen the center’s mission. An FIU alumna, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science in Adult Education and Human Resource Development.
