Bio
Gáramis comes to FIU after having worked in higher education as a professor and administrator for over six years. He has a BA in English and an MA in Linguistics both from FIU. He currently works at CAT in a supportive role and specializes in developing student-centered curriculum and educational technology programming. His main areas of interest include user experience design, active learning, universal design, minimalistic design, adaptive technology, artificial intelligence, and natural language processing.
